New Year's Eve: Party Animals
Party with an animal twist
Get ready for a rip-roaring evening of animal-themed activities and entertainment.
Get set for a wild celebration this New Year's Eve.
Channel your inner-party animal and send off 2018 by dancing beneath the largest creature to have ever lived, hosted in collaboration with experiential events company It's Unknown.
Ring in 2019 with an animal twist
We're not lion when we say this will be an unforgettable night, packed with animal-themed activities.
Pick up your complimentary drink before trying your luck at Musical Bingo, sampling edible insects, or having a hoot in the silent disco. There will be the opportunity to make animal masks, roam free in the galleries, submit a song request to the Love Cats, or simply dance the night away with the Massaoke band and DJs.
Make waves on the dance floor
DJs will be spinning your favourite party classics, while a calypso band roam the galleries serenading you throughout the night.
Explore the exhibitions for free
Both of the Museum's exhibitions will be open for you to explore: Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Life in the Dark.
What is Massaoke?
An amazing live band plays the greatest pop, indie and rock anthems of all time and the crowd sings along, guided by big screen lyrics.
It’s just like regular bingo, but instead of numbers, you mark off songs as you hear them in our themed rounds, with the chance to win great prizes.
Dress to impress
Dressing up is part of the fun, so get in the mood with a wild outfit inspired by our party animals theme.
